ScreenQR Privacy Policy

Privacy information specific to the ScreenQR desktop application.

ScreenQR is published by SSH Simple Software Hut, the software publishing identity of 12585341 Canada Corporation.

2. Application functionality

ScreenQR allows users to select an area of their computer screen, decode a QR code within that area, and open the decoded website link in their default web browser.

3. Screen content and QR codes

ScreenQR processes the user-selected screen area to identify and decode QR codes. The selected content and decoded information are used to perform the requested scanning operation. This policy will be reviewed against the released application's implementation, including its data storage and transmission behaviour, before publication in an application store.

4. External websites

When you open a decoded website link, your web browser connects to that destination. External websites may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

5. Support communications

If you contact our support team, we may receive your email address and information you provide in your message. We use this information to respond to support requests and maintain appropriate business records.
